My (GREEN) Wish List for March 2011!

The second post in my new Monthly Wish List is going to be themed in one of my least favourite colours… Green! Although I do have green eyes, I find green a hard colour to wear in terms of both make up and clothing. However, when I started my search for must-have green items this evening… I didn’t have to look far!

There are two green make up items that I’m currently coveting. The first being an RMK eyeshadow that I layed eyes on during Monday’s National Beauty Blogging Event. These rather special shadows are made using sterling silver (I kid you not, real sterling silver!) and have a beautiful, eye-catching finish. I think the green shade compliments this seasons pastel make up trend perfectly. The shadows are not too strongly pigmented, making them an easy way to pull off the tricky trend. (£16.50, available from ASOS)

The second make up item is one of Illamasqua’s new Cream Pigments that make up part of their upcoming Toxic Nature collection. The pale green shade Bedaub would make a fabulous base for the above RMK shadow don’t you think?

The Illamasqua Toxic Nature collection will be available from the 17th March and the creme pigments will be priced at £17.

These Peacock feather earings also caught my eye recently. I know they’re not all green, but the touch of bright green makes then really eye catching. For £6, you can’t really go wrong! Available from ASOS.

Another green item that caught my eye was this fabulous dark metallic green leather jacket from Rick Owens at Net-a-Porter. At £1,360 it is most certainly just for oogleing at (on my budget at least!) but is beautiful none the less.

Perhaps a more accessible offering from Net-a-Porter is my favourite green pick of the month, this beautiful Antik Batik beaded pouch bag. I think this would add a loevly touch of colour to many of my outfits and be very useful during the spring and summer months. (£165)

We can all dream! After all… that is what wishlists are for!

Is there anything currently on your wish list that is… GREEN?
