'Full Repair' Your Hair!

Are you hard on your hair? I know I am... My hair is seriously processed. It's bleached, I'm reluctant to get regular cuts, and I use some form of heat to style it every single day. As much as I know all of the above are bad for the condition of my hair, I'm addicted to the way they make it look and therefore, will most probably continue on this spiral of un-healthy hair treatment (realistically!) for the rest of my life...

Sound familiar? I know a lot of girls are in the same boat these days... the allure of the perfect blow dry, honey hued highlights or super sleek locks is too much for us! So for all those girls out there who simply can't (and won't) lay down their GHD's and give their hair a break...  John Frieda are on a mission to help.

Their latest line, 'Full Repair', is aimed at the style addicts amongst us and claims to leave your hair moistursed, sleek, easily style-able and more importantly... full of body, thanks to nourishing inca inchi oil. Most 'repair' treatments tend to weigh the hair down with heavy conditioners and leave in treatments, but the experts at JF have created a line that will cover you for all aspects of your styling addiction. It sounded too good to be true to me, so I put the line to the test!

As you can see, even though I've recently taken my hair down a notch from super light blonde to a more natural shade, my hair looks a mess when I wake up in the morning. It's dry, damaged and looking a little frazzled (and we haven't even mentioned the face yet - don't go there!)

As I have rather thick hair, I used the products that have been formulated for thicker locks: the Full Body Shampoo, Deep Conditioner, Perfect Ends Deep Infusion Treatment, Style Revival Heat-Activated Spray and the Perfecting Root Lift Foam.

I've had a bit of a love-hate relationship with John Freida products in the past, so I approached with caution when using these.

They all smell amazing... A very fresh, fruity scent.

The finished result was really impressive. Even after drying and curling my hair, the products left it feeling healthy, rejuvenated and smooth, but still feeling super light and like I'd used no styling product at all. I didn't even need my usual serum to smooth it down... perfect!

I'm really excited to see how this performs over a longer period of time as I love the results after only one use - I'd really recommend this line to any fellow style addicts out there!

The Full Repair line is available now, prices start from £5.59

  3. This range sounds really amazing! Although I tend not too use heat or colour on my hair, my friend is terrible for it and it has really affected her hair. I'm forever telling her that there are great treatments out there but could never recommend specific ones. Well right this minute I am going to text her to try this! Thanks for the post :)

  26. Really interested that you rate these after the whole "go blonder" situation from John Frieda last time!! I'm tempted to give these a go - I murder my hair with all the heat etc! Just invested in some Moroccan oil to see if that will help as well!

These bottles are on offer in boots at the moment (2 for £7.50) so think I'm going to pop by on the way home and purchase a few bottles!
