Nail of the Day: Petrol in Water (aka Car Polish No.2!)

 If you watch my videos on YouTube, you may have seen this gorgeous polish in my recent haul video, or seen me wearing it since. It's my new favourite polish and here's why:

Andrea Fulerton's Colour Layering System Trios consist of two different coloured polishes and are designed to be layered to create a third colour. Looking at the two polishes in the 'Petrol in Water' set, I would never have guessed they'd be able to create such a gorgeous colour.

The deep bronze shade is applied first...
 Followed by the pretty white shimmery shade...
And the outcome? A gorgeous bright blue and purple duochrome!

 Trying to get a decent photo of this polish is near impossible, but I think I captured some of it's beauty!
 Those of you who've been reading my blog for a while might remember why I'm quite so obsessed with this type of polish? Yep! I'm actually crazy enough to have a car in this colour!

I think Petrol in Water may be an even better match than my previous find (Nails Inc. Franklin's Row) hmm.. they're just so different... (detect sarcasm).

Either way, I definitely prefer Andrea Fulerton's take on the shade, it seems much brighter!

    I tried to buy this polish after watching your video and they didn't have any in stock. I'm going to head back in to town and try again as I really want this polish!! :P

    I would LOVE to see what your car looks like in that color. You mentioned having a mini in one of your videos and I absolutely LOVE minis! I've never seen one in that color, though!

    Lovely colour, check also Catrice in Iron Mermaiden, you might get it online. It is also this petroly-purple shade but more subtle then Petrol in Water. x

    Oooh I bought this a bout 2 weeks ago and have worn it ever since...even if it didnt match my outfit (and usually im so anal about colour co-ordination) but yeh i love it!!

    Accessorise do a glitter polish almost identical to the colour of the nails Inc colour.. I thought of you and your car when I spotted it today!
    :] all that hunting for a colour to match your car - and a few come along at once. typical.
