Marc Jacobs is launching a sister fragrance to his iconic Lola scent and (in my humble opinion!) it's even better than the original. I was lucky enough to sample Oh! Lola at it's unveiling this week and it was love at first sight and smell!
Both the bottle and the scent are brighter, lighter and even more fun than its predecessor.
It's a much more fruity concoction, with top notes of sparkling raspberry, pear and frais de bois, a floral heart of peony, magnolia and cyclamen and a warm, subtle base of vanilla, sandalwood and tonka bean.
To top it all off, they've chosen none other than the uber-talented Dakota Fanning to front the ad campaign. I absolutely love her look and think she's a perfect fit for the fragrance: young, cute and fun, but still a little outside of the mainstream.
If you were a fan of Daisy's little sister 'Eau So Fresh' this year, this is definitely one to look out for.
Oh! Lola will be available from 27th July.
ohh i think i' might need to go in and smell this sometime soon! sounds so young and fun!! :D

I have a feeling I'm going to adore this fragrance as the fruitier notes read like my ideal list of yumminess! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe bottle is utterly divine too, I've got to admit I do also take the kerb appeal into account and there's certainly a big tick in that box

ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty intense sized bottle she's got there, it's as if she got shrunken like in Alice in Wonderland or something haha.

I just recently bought this at my local ULTA and I LOOOOOVE it! Definitely my favorite over the original Lola. I feel Lola was aimed at the 30s to 40s for the smell, while Oh Lola feels more teeny and 20s. I own both and I love Oh Lola, while my mom favors lola (Where I came up with the age thing). It only takes two sprays and it lasts all day on me. I love the staying power it's amazing. It's sooo worth the splurge!
ReplyDeletelooks amazing!
