At most hair salons, you can expect to be offered a cup of tea or coffee with your cut, colour or treatment... maybe a glass of fresh orange juice or a glass of wine in some of the more up-market places, but Trevor Sorbie are taking it up a notch!

This is such a nice gesture at salons and is very common at higher end salons in the US. Last Monday, I suggested to my waxer in Nottingham that her salon should offer clients a glass of champagne before they get Hollywood waxes because it would ease the pain and relax the client a bit. She didn't really want to pursue it for liability and ethical reasons so I'll just have to drink a glass on my own before I see her. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWow really does make a change from being offered a glass of juice, again like a couple of people have said it'd be a bit risky if you have a couple too many and agree to have a drastic change which you could later regret. But I do think it's a great gesture especially if you are paying a lot of money for their service.
