Touche Éclat has been the world's number one best selling concealer product for years now. If you're a beauty fanatic then I'm sure you've owned at least one (or one hundred?!) during your lifetime.
This year the original Touche Éclat celebrates it's 20th birthday and YSL have finally perfected the formulation of their highly anticipated foundation. I know I'm not alone in thinking... FINALLY! This is without a doubt one of the most exciting launches of the year for the beauty world (rumour has it that this foundation has been 10 YEARS in the making!)
I thought I'd give you all a little sneak-peak before I film a full video review for you all next week.
So here you are girls... feast your eyes on Le Teint Touche Éclat!
A little more info for you:
- 22 Shades. Creative Director of YSL Makeup, Lloyd Simmons, developed the extensive shade range to include all skin tones. The shades are arranged into warm (Beige Dore), cool (Beige Rose) and neutral (Beige) and range from the palest rose complexions to the deepest golden skins.
- The glass bottle has YSL's signature golden cap, and pump (no un-washable brushes here... horaay!)
- Contains no opaque powders, so claims to avoid a 'masked' effect.
- YSL have replaced these powders with a 'soft focus gel' which claims to smooth away imperfections without masking the skin.
- Claims to have a 'weightless' texture.
- UK release date: 9th July 2012 International release dates vary but I believe the US release date will be in August.
- Will retail for £28 in the UK, $55 in the United States or €42.60.
As I said above, I'm going to be doing a full review of this foundation once I've had the opportunity to try it for a longer period of time, but my first impressions are rather wonderful...
What do you think girls? Are you excited to try this product?
I am so excited to try this! Even the bottle looks pretty! Looking forward to your review. x
ReplyDeleteI canNOT wait for this!!! <3

The touche eclat foundation is pretty much the only beauty thing I've been really REALLY excited about this year.
ReplyDeleteYou look very radiant so maybe this will live up to all the hype - I just hope it doesn't make my very pale skin too shiny though.
Their colour range is fab too.
Ah this is exciting! The bottle is so beautiful too x

Oh yayyyyyy! so exciting! gosh about time! Looks simply divine! But Im sure in australia it will end up being close to the $100 mark! We'll have to wait and see! Looks gorgeous on fleur!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try this! x
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing, can't wait to try it!

This foundation looks perfect for summer :) can't wait for your full review! xx

Does this have a smell? I tend to hate the strong mango smell in lots of YSL products, as it gives me migraines :( Hopefully they will have skipped the fragrance in this foundation!
ReplyDeleteVery intruiging indeed! The fact that it doesn't contain powders makes me think it'll be very sheer but luminous.

Exciting! 10 years in the making?! Wow, I think it is safe to say I have high expectations. Cannot wait to try this out! :)

You look absolutely glowing! I am very keen to try this when it comes out x
ReplyDeleteOMG I'm very excited! Looks wonderfull on you! Can't wait to try it, I'm thinking this foundation gives a dewy finish and covers really well.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing new posts from you! Another great review!!
ReplyDeletehttp://dugongsss.blogspot.com
this is a great review! I'm in the market for a higher end foundation, now can't decided whether to wait for this or go for the trusty chanel vitalumiere aqua? Any suggestions? I'll be waiting on your full review video :)

Can not wait!! Amazed at the price too, better than I thought it would be
ReplyDeletexxx
Fleur, how does this compare to the Chanel Vitalumiere aqua? I am in LOVE with that foundation but this one looks incredible too! xxxx
ReplyDeleteThis is so exciting! Really looking forward to your review, too. I'm pleasantly surprised by the price; considering it's YSL, I was expecting it to be much, much higher. Maybe this is something I'll actually be able to afford! Eee!
ReplyDeleteit looks really really good I am so excited to try it out! thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletewow that looks beautiful :)) please go and check out my blog: missbeautyliciouse.blogspot.com
ReplyDeletethis is so exciting. i'm not a massive fan of the concealer because i don't feel like it gives quite enough coverage but i hate anything heavy on my face. www.amyknowsbestik.blogspot.co.uk
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for your review on this! It looks so amazing - argghh I wan't it now! xx
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for it to be launched in the UK! It definetly wouldn't be part of my day-to-day makeup routine, but more of a luxurious product that i would wear for important events. £28 for a foundation is a real splurge, and not a price that my student wallet would be able to afford on a regular basis!

ReplyDeletebeautyconfessionsofabiggirl.blogspot.co.uk
I've been so excited about this and I'm even more excited about the price! Not cheap by any means but I was expecting around the £40 mark.
ReplyDeletexo
eeeek i'm so excited to try this! And the price too? Is incredibly reasonable for YSL (: xxx

I'm SO exited!! I love the touche éclat concealer and if this foundation is as good as that, it could very well be a new favourite!! :-) Looking forward to seeing your review.

I'm excited to try this, you look beautiful as always but this shade looks a bit too pink on you, maybe the lighting? I always find YSL and Chanel to be not yellow enough unlike their Bobbi Brown and Nars counterparts. I expect the formulation is a dream though, as a fan of the old disgusting brush version! Look forward to a more in depth review xx
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try this, it looks really good on you! Look forward to your review:)
ReplyDeleteHope you'll stop by my blog sometime:

ReplyDeleteThis sounds so exciting and cheaper than the Chanel foundations woohoo! Defo want to try this out :) xx
ReplyDeletehttp://nikscritsx.blogspot.com
Oh can't wait to try this out! Hope it's worth the €43 but I'm sure it is! :)xx

ReplyDeletethemakeupjunkieblog-catb.blogspot.co.uk
Im SO exited you wouldnt beleive!! Please tell me how it compares to your beloved vitalumiere aqua, or even just the vitalimiere, the aqua's to matt for me as I like the dewey look but I have an oily t zone so the vitalumiere slides off my face by the afternoon, please say this answers my prayers!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to trying this! With the price tag I hope it is worth it.
ReplyDeletehttp://missjaynebecca.blogspot.co.uk/2012
I wasn't aware that they were formulating this. I am really excited!
ReplyDeleteOmg it's being released in the uk on my 18th birthday!! yay :) can't wait to buy it
ReplyDeletedefinitely definitely have to try this, been using the touche eclat for YEARS xx
ReplyDeleteOoooh exciting! I'm not normally thrilled by product launches but a) this is huge and b) is genuinely quite interesting. I wonder if they've left it so long just for the hype?
ReplyDeleteAnd this has reminded me, I've not had touche eclat for a while... a double splurge may be in order!
http://xhannahsaidso.blogspot.co.uk/
Your skin looks amazing in the picture! Can't wait for this to be released in the US! Thanks for the post!:)

ReplyDeleteThis sounds like it's gonna be great, and considering it's been 10 years in the making it should be :)
