I popped into the Pixi store just off Carnaby Street this week to take a look around and totally fell in love with two of the other shades in the collection: True Teal and Deep Plum
If I'm honest, the teal totally steals the show, but because I've got green eyes I was excited to see how the plum liner looked on me, and I love it!
L-R: True Teal, Deep Plum, Straight on till Morning |
Lots of brands have come out with these gel-pencil liners over the past few years. My favourites to date have been the Bobbi Brown Long-Lasting and Urban Decay 24/7 Liners but these liners are just as good (if not better, I can't decide!) and you can pick them up for just £9.50 each. Compared to the Bobbi Brown versions at £17.50 and the Urban Decay option at £13, they could save you a few pennies, and let's face it, Pixi's pale green colour scheme will definitely brighten up your makeup bag!
The more products I try from Pixi, the more I love them, they are fast becoming one of my favourite middle-end makeup brands. You can pick these up at larger Boots stores, online here or from the Pixi store!
What do you think? Have your tried any Pixi products?
Those are such lovely strong colours! xx

WOWWW! What magnificent vivid colours. The True Teal is electric. ^^
ReplyDeleteI love the plum one, and I have green eyes too so I might need to give that one a try (if I can get them here in the US, that is!)

These look uber pigmented! I've been loving the Sleek Eau La La Liners at the moment but I've seen really positive reviews for these all over the blogsphere so dying to try some out :)
ReplyDeleteThe sleek liners are fab indeed, but personally I prefer the colour selection of the Pixi ones :)
Deleteoh wow that teal is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the teal looks so pigmented!

I actually prefer these to the Urban Decay 24/7 ones because even the 24/7 liners smudge on me. The pixi ones don't budge and they're much cheaper, hurray! They're so buttery soft so I was expecting them to give me panda eyes but they're just so fabulous and stay in place :) I have the plum one and want to get the shimmery cream coloured one, I thought that one looked gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love the teal colour, so pretty! x
ReplyDeleteGosh these are so beautiful! xo
ReplyDeleteI have one of the Pixi liners and they are magnificent want to try that plum one it look gorgeous!

The True Teal is so fantastic! I feel like it wouldn't do much on me though, because I have blue eyes.

I don't know why I'm convinced that pixie products aren't good, I've never been attracted to their products, but lately everyone seems to be raving about them so I might have to check it out! :) x

Gorgeous colours! I have yet to try gel-pencil liners, seem so good though! xx

I'm a little unsure about these. I've got the black one and when I wore it for the first time it literally smudged everywhere and didn't last long at all and I definately wouldn't say my lids are oily either.
ReplyDeleteMay have to give it another go but I'm not a fan of them at the moment. A bit disappointed!

ReplyDeleteDeep Plum looks really intense. I love that colour x

Too bad they pretty much cost the same w/ UD 24/7 in the US!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea these were gel liners in pencil form. I was already curious to test these out because Louise from A Sprinkle Of Glitter and Shiv from LetzMakeup have both said wonderful things. Definitely popping these on my 'to buy' list now. I could give the teal liner a good home!
ReplyDeleteDying to visit the pixi store in london next time im there! I'll definetly be giving these a whirl! Thanks Fleur!
ReplyDeleteI have the black one of these - I wanted to try them out before buying some of the coloured ones. Love it though! The only thing you have to be careful of is putting the lid back on because the eyeliner itself is to soft and creamy and is easily crushed. (:
ReplyDeleteThese sound amazing, especially the plum one! I wish my local Boots stocked PIXI :(

In olden times quill pens made from bird feathers were all the rage, and were the primary writing instrument for many centuries. When the Industrial Revolution beckoned, a progressively more refined technology created improved writing tools, like the fountain pen for instance. The primary contemporary categories of pens can be classified by the sort of writing tip or point. Let us look at the more popular writing paraphernalia available in the market today, and also at writing instruments used in the past.
