It promises to calm, nourish and smooth distressed skin, without harsh chemicals, parabens and a whole host of other nasties.
It comes in a compact, 2.oz tube that is great for travelling. I'd estimate you get between 10-15 uses out of it, depending on how much you like to apply.
The consistency is thick, as you would expect from a nourishing mask. It has quite large pieces of oatmeal still in it and it applies thickly on to the skin. It has a soft, pleasant scent (unsurprisingly, like oatmeal!)
Although it's thick, it isn't stubborn to remove. It doesn't tingle or irritate my skin in the slightest during the 10 min treatment, and leaves my face feeling refreshed, plumped and baby-soft.
This was everything I had hoped it to be: a gentle, highly moisturising face mask that I can use on a regular basis without overwhelming my skin. I'd thoroughly recommend this to anyone with irritable, dry skin or those seeking an extra boost of hydration. It is the perfect accompanying product to their multi-use Ultra Repair Cream (more on that HERE). It has most certainly found a firm place in my skincare routine.
Seems like a great product especially that it's good for dry and sensitive skin, shame that it's quite expensive :( xxx

This sounds so yummy! can't wait till they bring it to the UK. Great post.x
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! I love thick face masks that have chunks of ingredients in them :) As weird as that sounds, haha. xx

I think my dry skin would thank me for using this mask:)

This sounds great, I'm always looking for new face products. My current favourite is a Palmers mask I picked up in Australia, which sadly doesn't seem to exist here! This one sounds a bit like one of the Lush masks, all oatmeal-ly, except they can cross that line between nice and thick and falling all over the carpet! Great post :)

Sounds so good! I just stick to using Sudocrem for face masks at the moment as I tried so many, and I just can't stand that tingling feeling that most face masks have, I have very sensitive skin so it feels a lot more like burning to me! Will have to check this out :)

Sounds perfect for my dry but sensitive skin. I've been using a soft daily scrub for my dryness lately but my skin seems to be getting "used to it". This sounds perfect for a bit of a change up.
ReplyDeleteThanks Fleur!

That looks really good! I love the Ultra Repair Cream from the same line - so moisturizing :)

I should try this! I love using face masks but the ones I had been using started bothering my skin; drying it out. This seems like a potential option for me, thanks Fleur!

Hmm for $22 I'd prefer to make my own! But it does look a nice product and would be much easier and less messy :) Love oatmeal masks, so nourishing, delicate on skin and cheap (if you DIY)!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a really nice product! Shame about the price tag tho! xxx
ReplyDeletehttp://jeminixlife.blogspot.com
I would imagine this'd be a great choice for oily/combination skin. I have such severely combination skin that's it's tricky to find products that will moisturise my skin without causing spots :) xx

i thought it was already in boots or superdrug!

Hey Fleur! I love you so much! Haha x]
ReplyDeleteI've nominated you for an award on my blog, stylechoice.blogspot.com so please check it out! :D
Interesting, and would definitely be a try.. if they weren't $22 -_- A bit too steep for me, sigh.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds cool and delicious! haha Nice one Fleur :)

This is kinda like the Oatifix face mask from lush. Although the one from lush can be a little on the greasy side afterwards because of the Almond oil in it.
ReplyDeleteSounds good!

This product sounds awesome, especially for travelling. But it's a bit on the pricey side for me at the moment. For a really cheap and natural alternative of this same idea, check my blog post at:
