I've been trying out these new palettes from budget beauty brand Collection for the past couple of weeks. I resisted the temptation to post about these straight away (which I wanted too, because let's face it, they look exciting, and they swatch really nicely!) However I wanted to give them a proper test run, as good swatches don't always mean great wear time...
I'm really pleased to report that these didn't dissapoint...
They aren't better than the Naked palettes by any stretch of the imagination. Urban Decay's shadow formulation beats most brands due to their impeccable payoff and blend-ability so they are a hard competitor, but these are really quite nice. A great budget beauty buy for those looking for an every day 'do-it-all' palette that won't break the bank.
They come in three different colour-ways (Nude, Nude Grey and Nude Bronze) I only have Nude and Nude Grey, but both are lovely. The formula is soft, blends nicely and has decent payoff. They are great for every day and compact enough to fit in your handbag. Nude is more of an everyday palette, with lots of paler tones, while Nude Great can take you from day to evening as it has some great deep, smokey shades in there too.
'Nude'
'Nude Grey'
The best part? The price of course! These are a mere £3.99. An absolute bargain considering you get 6 decent sized shadows in each palette, all of which are beautiful, wearable shades.
These hit shelves next Wednesday (11th Feb) in Superdrug, and 18th Feb in Boots. Well worth a look if you're on the hunt for a new everyday staple!
Wow Collection is really upping their game these look fantastic and the pigmentation looks great. Thinking about getting one of these for travel. xoxo

Thank you for the honest review. A lot of brands have been putting out similar palettes and they just don't make the cut at all. If anyone is looking for an alternative affordable product, I would strongly suggest looking into L'oreal infalliable single eyeshasows they are so beautiful and pigmented.
ReplyDeleteThese are such an amazing bargain, the colours in nude grey especially are so pretty x

See this is one thing I love! Cheap make up, that's actually really really pretty! I usually have a problem with the price- being 18 and not living at home has it's negatives (mainly not having £1000 a month to spend on anything you want)
ReplyDeleteI just put up a new post on what I don't like about make up, do any of you agree with me or am I just too fussy?
