Yes To HAIR!

*Sponsored post
The Yes To brand has been on my radar for years now (ever since my friend Ingrid introduced me to the cucumber face wipes way back when!) since then, they have expanded hugely and now offer not only a massive range of different products, but also a wide selection of product ranges (each with a different hero ingredient) targeted at specific skin, body or hair care needs.

When the brand approached me a few weeks ago to talk about their new hair care range, I was really excited as it's quite hard to find more natural-based products on the high street that actually perform well. I know this because I'm always on the look out for those perfect products that nourish my hair while at the same time not irritating my scalp.

I have quite dry, processed hair that is well suited to heavier hair care products to reduce any frizz and smooth everything out, but I also have intermittent Psoriasis on my scalp that is often triggered by chemical-heavy products, so a lot of products that work well for my hair don't necessarily work for my scalp. I'm essentially looking for the best of both worlds, and that can be very hard to find

The whole 'Yes To' line up sounded ideal for me as the shampoo contains 98% natural ingredients, the conditioner 97% and the entire range is free from SLS, Petroleum and Parabens. I Decided to go for the Yes To Coconut range, as it's formulated specifically for dry hair with coconut and argan oils, so it's moisturising enough to smooth everything out, whilst not drying or irritating my scalp at the same time. It leaves my hair feeling soft, smooth and glossy and my scalp comfortable.

I'm a big fan of coconut oil in haircare in general. There are some really expensive Coconut rnages out there and the Yes To Coconut range is a great affordable alternative option. They are £5.99 each for big 280ml bottles. An absolute bargain and great option when it comes to high street hair care! They also do a Yes To Carrots version for flaky scalps, Yes To Cucumber for volume and Yes To Blueberries for Shine.

The Yes To hair care range is available now from Boots (here) and prices vary from £4.99-£5.99.

  6. You don't think the yes to coconuts conditioner is too heavy, I had difficulty washing it out of my hair properly. But I do really like the yes to carrots shampoo!

  14. I'm always concerned what they put in products if they don't use parabens and SLS... sometimes the alternative can be worse... the best option in my opinion is low levels of SLS and parabens derived from something natural. I'm pretty sure Lush does this. Now of course that's not drugstore or particularly cheap. Just food for thought.

  22. I have the exact same problems as you with my hair and scalp so I always love your recommendations. I loved the yes to cucumber products but got scared off when I tried their yes to grapefruit line and it completely irritated my skin. I still don't know what caused it! However, I wouldn't expect it the coconut line so I may have to try it!
