Having tweeted about which Jemma Kidd products are worth a looksie a few weeks back, I thought I should share with you which products I chose in the end with a little 'haul'. Oh the excitement of unopened make up! Something about packaging really is just so enticing...
Clockwise from top:
Dual Iluminator in Champagne (This is free when you spent over £30 at feelunique.com, or £18 if you buy it separately!), Colour Match Concealer Duo in Light (£16), Lipshine Lipstick in Holders (£13) and Creme Blush in Guava (£13).
The pick of the bunch has to be the lipstick. The packaging is just amazing! You press the bottom and the tube clicks out into your hand. I'm totally in love with the shape of the lipstick too, like a squared bullet shape rather than your conventional bullet! This actually makes it really nice to apply straight onto the lips.
And as for the colour and formulation - fabulous! The colour is a cute and ever-so-slightly bold pinkish/red.
The concealer is also a winner. With one pink tone and one yellow tone, the duo allows you to conceal all varieties of imperfection. The packaging is also a lovely, rubberised plastic like NARS', with a generously sized mirror.
The blush is a consistency similar to Topshop's creme blushes, which makes me hesitant about the price tag (Topshop's are £6) so I would be inclined to say skip these and go for the Topshop variety, although they are still a lovely product.
As for the final (freebie!) highlighter duo, this is also a fab product. Always a fan of multi-purpose products, the creme makes for a gorgeous cheek bone highlight for the evening, and the dust looks pretty swept along the collarbones if you're wearing a more revealing outfit!
Please let me know if any of you have tried these products, or any others from the JK line. Any recommendations for my next feelunique order would also be greatly appreciated!

I have 3 of the lip glosses in the colours Shell, Oyster & Fuschsia (two nudes and one pinky red), all very nice, not sticky. I got them all as free gifts with other purchases! I also have the Ultimate Lip Care in Nude, which is a fantastic lipstick/balm with an SPF, the Lip Perfector which primes and neutralises the lips for lipstick and the Dewy Glow, which is a bigger version of the free gift you got but without the dust! I swatched the cream blush the other day and came to the same conclusion as you - very nice but not worth the money! One tip, stay clear of the Stardust Creme Shadow - creases after about a minute, even over primer, terrible product! I really want to try the mineral veil.x
ReplyDeleteI think I might give JK a try... loving the lippies and the concealer. And thanks or the tip re blush.
ReplyDeleteI want to try something from this brand, I've read great reviews about it
