When I was in New York in April, these shoes caught my eye.
They are the 'Lorissa' pumps from Sam Edelman. I'm not really sure why as they do have a little 'dominatrix' look about them. None the less, I wanted them, desperately. But (as usual when you are the oh-so-average size 5) they were sold out.
So you can understand my excitement this weekend when I saw the 'Renzo' booties on mywardrobe.com!
My birthday's next week, so I refrained, THEN clicked over to perezhilton for a quick peruse of this weeks celebrity gossip and I spotted them on these fine tootsies...
None other than Selena Gomez... who seems to have worn them at least four times during her stay in London.
And they look simply fabulous with everything she's paired them with!
Now what do you say girls... are these shoes just meant to be mine? I can't seem to get away from them! Now I just can't decide whether to go for the shoe or the boot!? What do you think?

ReplyDeleteThose shoes are amazing! Even if you don't wear them much (which I'm sure you will) they're a great piece to add to the wardrobe which you can get out when your feeling down and think 'these shoes are fabulous!'

ReplyDeletethey are both very cool! but personally I would go for the shoes because I´m not a big boot fan on my feet... the boots are more rock´n´roll and the shoes are more feminine with an edgy bit to it :)

(Great Explanation ;]) But you can see how Selena dressed them down too with the t-shirt and jeans so they look more casual. With heels that would be a tad harder. plus you can dress them up too which is awesome. I say if you've got the cash, SPLASH! :D

Love them, I'd probably do a DIY version tbh and just buy some cheaper shoe boots, some studs and be patient with some superglue (in saying all that, I like the boots better).

I have been looking for these boots everywhere after seeing Selena in them! Such a shame they are so expensive!! I would def go for the boots over the shoes. They look amazing!

ReplyDeleteSoooo nice! I reckon the boots - more easily dressed down for daytime so you'd get your money's worth, since the studs mean they're equally wearable during the evening.

They're so much more edgy and probably a lot more comfy! plus the fact that you live in england where you will probably want to wear bootie more then pumps.And I think the booties can be dressed down, but not the pumps! anyways wtv you choose BOTH ARE AMAZING !

the sam elderman shoes are so heavy, it will fall off your feet a lot... i heard they were doing a lightter version becauise its problematic.... go for the boots, defenitly

Both shoes are absolutely beautiful - when I saw the first picture of the boots I wasn't really sure - but seeing them paired up with outfits they are amaaaaazing :D Whichever you get, they'll be gorgeous :D

ReplyDeleteI've been eyeing these shoes for a while and still didn't make up my mind about them specially after trying them on, they're so high I feel like I'm walking on my toes with no support or platform whatsoever. If you can walk in these babies then go for the shoes, although hard to walk in (for me) they looked HAWT !

Alternatively, I saw a girl on youtube who wanted these shoes as well but didn't have them - I don't know whether they didn't have her size or if it was a cost thing - but she got some cheap(er) plain heels, some of t he studs/spikes and made them herself:) Just an example if you pick one and can't get it in your size!

ReplyDeleteI have also been obsessing about those pumps and it was my bday a few days ago and I decided to get the pumps in a nude leather. The leather is soooo soft and they look amazing! You should definitely get the pumps without a doubt. The front of the boots looks a bit awkward with the style. I don't know about the boots, but if you get the pumps get a half size down so they don't slip off your feet. And I personally don't think they're as heavy and uncomfortable as people say. The half size down doesn't slip off and I don't notice the weight, although they are obviously heavier than most shoes, but I personally find them reasonably comfortable.
