For All Those Sensitive Scalps Out There...

If you follow my blog or YouTube channel on a regular basis you may have heard me talk about my sensitive scalp. It's a total nightmare. Most products leave my scalp dry, while others can leave a path of destruction that can irritate the skin all around my scalp (including my forehead and the back of my neck... yuk!)

But the good news is... I've found the best thing to relieve it!

In the past I've relied on natural and organic brands to help soothe my sore scalp, but my new saviour product comes from skin care specialist brand Eucerin.

The active ingredients are Urea (sounds yucky, I know but trust me... it's not pee!) and Lactate.

And it works. It's the best thing I've found in my long search for a shampoo that not only soothes my scalp, but doesn't leave my hair looking fluffy or frizzy (as I've found to be the case with most natural and organic brands)

I combine it with my favourite conditioner, and my hair and scalp have never felt better.

I'm a big fan!

You can pick up Eucerin Shampoo at Boots stores and online for £8.73

*This post has been sponsored by Eucerin, who gave me the shampoo to try, but believe me... it's been tried and tested and I really do love it!*

  5. Wow thanks so much for the post! I have such a sensitive scalp, I've been using T-Gel by Neutrogena for about 3 years and though it does work, it can still leave me with irritation so will def be trying this, I assume it'll be in Irish boots stores :) x

  6. You could also try Polytar - my mum uses it for the the psoriasis on her scalp so I can vouch that it's good for very, very sensitive scalps!

  8. I'm definitely going to try this. In the winter with central heating I get really dry skin around my hairline and it's horrible. Every other product for dry skin has dried out all of my hair, so I'd love to find something that works and doesn't dry my hair.

  13. I love the eucerin skincare line. I had really bad eczema on my face, around my nose, and I tried almost every cream imaginable to try and get rid of it. Then I tried the eucerin face cream and it worked. It cleared up my face and I was so happy. Not only does it work, it is really affordable as well. Im a student on a budget lol.thank you so much for this review :)

  14. Such a lovely Product !!!!!

Fleur , i have a random question how did you grew out your hair (or did you always had long hair)? :)

It would be nice to do some tutorials with your favourite everyday make (the make up that you normally wear everyday) :)

  15. Urea actually is excreted in pee, so no, it's not pee - but it's a compound found in urine.

  16. Hey Fleur, what does this smell like? Because the Eucerin hand cream and body lotion don't smell very nice at all... kind of sour smelling. Thanks!

  17. Urea is a wonder product (eugh - but it's true)! A couple of years ago in the midst of one unbelievably long and cold winter where the skin on the back of my hands bled daily from severe cracks and dryness I found Miracle Hand Repair by a US brand called Miracle of Aloe. It contains 60% Aloe Vera and, of course, urea which initially put me off in a huge way until I realised how fantastic this product was! With daily application it totally soothed and healed my winter paws. It's totally brilliant and although somewhat expensive (for a hand cream) at $14.95, the large 8oz (about 237ml) lasted me almost a year! Check out the Miracle of Aloe website here: http://www.miracleofaloe.com and HOORAY FOR UREA!

  18. Please, if you have the time can you share which other brands you've tried out as i'm currently using this. It worked for me for around a week then i started getting the itches again. So much so that i have hives.
    It's driving me bananas!

    luv Jules x
