Jimmy Choo Mk.2

When Jimmy Choo launched their first fragrance, simply entitled 'Eau de Parfum' last year, it received rave reviews from just about everyone... except me. Something about the scent was just a little too sickly-sweet for my liking, but since most people seemed to love it, I thought you might like to hear that they are now launching a limited edition, intensified version of the scent: Jimmy Choo 'Parfum' which will be available in stores next week.

The bottle is a stunning semi-metal creation, and the perfume is a deep amber shade instead of the original baby pink. The new version is a more intense adaptation of the original. Keeping the same notes of tiger orchid, pear nectar, orange, toffee and patchouli but with a 20 per cent concentration of pure perfume, it will smell stronger and last longer. 


If you're a fan of the original I'm sure you'll have your eyes on this. Until you see the price tag... This 40ml bad boy will set you back £98.

A little steep? I think so.

    Ouch at the price! but the bottle is just gorgeous! I think I may have to go and give this a cheeky spritz when Im in debenhams ;)

    I LOVE the normal one! I don't have it, but I always go and spray it on myself in Boots ;) This one sounds even better, but the price tag doesn't :( xxx

    I'm really enjoying the original at the moment but £98 . . ! I think the only way I'm gonna get to wear this is with a spray in store:(

    "too sickly sweet" and "intensified version " in the same sentence sound pretty scary. Almost as scary as the price tag!

    This bottle is absolutely beautiful! Did you ever end up getting the sample from Burberry? Mine came but it's a standard size mini sample.

    More than a little steep.. jees! Wonder on what grounds they can justify such a price?

    Also, got my Burberry sample in the post a couple of weeks ago; liked it, but not enough to purchase it, really. It's staying in it's minute sample bottle in my handbag for now - for emergencies.

    I LOVE the orginal Jimmy Choo scent so when I heard about the new one I was really excited... Until I saw the price tag... Not sure it's worth that much but hopefull they'll come up with a more affordable option with the luxe bottle

    I haven't smelt the original yet and I'd be interested in a sample vial to try it out but I doubt I'd buy it, there are more affordable perfumes out there that I want to get my mits on and probably will be gifted a lot of perfume giftsets for Christmas which are my favourite ways to try out the shower gels, body lotions etc.

    My favourite perfume of all time is Angel by Thierry Mugler and secondly Alien also by Thierry Mugler check those out ladies they're gorgeous and very affordable. Angel is one of the highest selling perfumes since it's launch in 90's.

    i read about this about a week or so ago and loved the bottle, i much prefer it to the other bottle but that price tag... wow it makes my eyes water a little, probably a miss for me :s

    eeee, I love pretty perfume bottles, they are so part of the experience of buying perfume.

    I found a lovely new perfume today Fleur, its Lovestruck by Vera Wang, smells delish and the bottle is amazing! The bottle reminds me of the Marc Jacob kind. You should give it a look next time your on one of your hauls! :)
