I've been wanting to try Kevyn Aucoin makeup for a few years now but I've never taken the time to look much further into it other than having a quick browse online. It's been notoriously hard to get your mitts on this side of the pond, until now. It's recently been brought into SpaceNK stores and I was a little overexcited to try my very first product this week.
'The Lipgloss' in Pasiflora is a gorgeous jelly-red with iridescent pink glitter. The packaging is quite shockingly small and square. It looks more like a nail polish at first glance.
The formula is simply wonderful. It's totally un-sticky, and the glitter isn't chunky at all, you can barely feel it on the lips. The doe foot applicator is a lot more foot-like than normal (chubby and chunky!), but it does a great job of applying just the right amount of gloss.
It's quite sheer on it's own but leaves a perfectly glossy finish to the lips. It look great layered over lipstick. And the best part? It tastes like fruit punch... I love it!
The one downside is the price. At £22 it's a serious splurge for a lipgloss, but if you're looking for a totally non-sticky, totally beautiful lipgloss then look no further. So far, so good with Kevyn Aucoin! I've got my eyes on the cult-status Sensual Skin Enhancer next.

It's so deceiving! I thought it was a nail varnish at first, but then read further down and it was a lipgloss, aha. Clever packaging! You will have to let us know how long the lipgloss lasts for on the lip, as well as how long the actual product lasts for also! £22 is a lot of money to spend on a lipgloss, but if it's good as you say it is then it definitely must be worth the splurge! But it does look really nice on the lip, it's hard to find a good lipgloss these days!

This gloss looks really pretty :) I like the way that it is a bit watery as opposed to really pigmented. The suttle glitter makes it more beautiful than usual lipglosses~ Thanks for sharing~x

never tried kevyn aucoin before but this lipgloss is stunning. it's a little pricey but i always like to own one or two expensive, good quality lipglosses for special occasions :) x

The sensual skin enhancer is my favorite product. I use it as an under eye concealer. I also love the eyelash curler.

I am loving this colour and I love Kevyn Aucoin products, I already have one of his foundations, concealer and highlighter and love each one! I am going to go to Space Nk on the way home tonight to have a look at this gloss!!!
