I know this is my second mascara post in the past week but I've just tried YSL's Shocking mascara for the first time and I simply couldn't contain my blogging-self!
This version of the mascara has been out for quite some time now so I'm rather late on the bandwagon but it's quite simply amazing.
The wand it slightly different to the original, it appears slightly twisted in design, with longer bristles on one side than the other and vice versa towards the end of the wand.
The original Effet Faux Cils is definitely a better choice for the daytime, but I can honestly say I've never used a mascara this dramatic before. It's one of a kind and I'm in love with it. I always thought naming it 'shocking' was a little over the top but having tried it, I think it's really quite appropriate.
What do you think? Has anyone else tried this mascara?

Wow! Your lashes look amazing! Always a bit dubious about buying 'designer' mascaras. It might be the 'student' in me, but I always tend to go for cheaper drugstore mascaras. But this looks brilliant!

Fleur your eyelashes look magnificent! I've never tried a YSL mascara before, but I think now I've started my new job this is definitely something I'd like to buy! I've never had a high end mascara so it'll be new to me, but the photos look stunning.

Tutorial please! I have that mascara sitting in my drawer at home. Every time I use it, I have a clumpy mess on my hand! It is quite clear by your post that I must not be using it correctly. Your eyes look GORGEOUS!

I have just brought the borjois 1001 lashes mascara and i have to say it has exactly the same effect as this mascara. The packaging may not be as luxury but it even has a similar brush! deffinately woth a go! I got mine in TK Maxx which was great as i also got 2 eyeshadows and it all came to £8!
