Apivita Eye Patches with Rose

I'm absolutely loving Greek skin care brand Apivita at the moment (for more of a detailed intro to the brand, check out my review of their cucumber face mask here)

The latest product to catch my eye whilst perusing the aisles of M&S last week were the Express Beauty Eye Patches with Rose. These eye patches claim to moisturise and revitalise tired eyes. Perfect for using on or after a long haul flight, or if you've had a long week.

They come in a single use sachet, which I didn't realise was £5 until I'd already queued up to buy it. A little steep I thought, but their products I've tried so far have all been lovely, so I purchased it regardless.

The patches are one sided, and shaped to fit closely under your lower lash line. They aren't exactly 'sticky' but they stay on for the recommended 15 minutes, and feel lovely and soothing during application.

I took a snap before, during and after, so I'll let the pictures do the talking...
Before
During!

After 15 minutes, I took the patches off to reveal an under eye area that looked pretty much unchanged...
After
Now, I'm never a firm believer in products that show instant results (let's face it, its very rare to find them!) so while I wasn't blown away with the results (the dark circles are still there!) my eyes did feel refreshed and moisturised, and the experience of using the patches was lovely.

These certainly aren't something I would purchase on a regular basis, but I will definitely be repurchasing them for my next long haul flight, and perhaps for any 'girls night in' type pampering sessions in the future.

All in all, a lovely (if not miracle!) product.

Have you ever tried any eye masks? I'd love to hear your thoughts on them, and if you've tried out any other Apivita products!

  1. These look pretty cool, but I'm not sure I'll be spending money on them if they aren't doing much! Nice for a pamper though I imagine :)

  6. I think it'll be one of those things you have to try to believe how lovely and 'soothing' they do feel! But still - £5 is pretty steep!xxx

  11. I have never tried any, but I have some going my way from ebay. So excited, just wish it wouldn't take so long.

As for instant results, I think with products like this, it is more important how they make you feel. So if you had nice 15 minutes of pampering, it means they did their job ;)

  12. Yes, but i buy mine from eBay. They are 0.99$ for 5 packets, named "collagen eye patch" or something like that:) I love them! i keep mine in the fridge for an extra cooling sensation. It´s really wakening and refreshing, an lets not forget the fine lines under the eyes, i think prevention is key! I forget to use them as regularly as my face mask, but i like doing it when
i´m stressed or tired (hello exams!)

  27. I have tried several types of eye-patches (IncaRose, HQ,and many more that now slip my mind), but none of them provided decent results. I think right now I could use a good eye contour cream or serum. In spite of your young age and awesome skin, would you suggest one in particular?keep in touch dear, love, Coco

  29. I love eye-patches. True, you can't see the result a second after taking them off but surely the eye area feels relaxed and nice. I always keep an extra packaging and use it the day I don't feel too well

  31. Youe eyes do look fresher and brighter. I have dark circles too, isn't it a royal pain? :( The neverending battle to get rid of them. Do you use facial masks? I am a big fan of face masks as part of essential skin care. I have a great site just for facial masks. Check it out, let me know if you want to exchange links.
