I tried to drop in to Chanel Bond Street on VFNO last Thursday to get a glimpse of the collection in person (and to have a good old swatch!) but there was a ridiculous queue to get in so I abandoned the cause!
The
lip shades just weren't quite there for me (to spend £25 on at least) Although
the formulation of the Rouge Allure Velvet lipsticks is beautiful!
The
darker shade I had my eye on for both the lips and nails (Provocation) was
actually a lot more purple than the plum I was hoping for, The medium pink
(Infidele) wasn't quite 'special' enough, and the nude nail polish
(Delicatesse) was a little too orange-toned for me. Surprisingly, I liked the
nude lipstick the most (which I expected to like least!)
So
all in all, a little disappointing... I didn't end up buying anything from this
collection. Fingers crossed, the new Rouge Allure shades don't disappoint when
they arrive on counter tomorrow!
What
do you think of the Twin-Sets collection? Do you like any of the shades?
I think the dark shade is more beautiful swatched than in the photo. I love vampy purple shades.

I'm a sucker for dark purples, both in nail polish and on the lips! Unfortunately for me, it's coming up to spring/summer in Australia, so not the perfect time for the dark colours. Lovely post though! <3 Hope you can get some sleep!

I would definitely go for the lighter shade so am glad you say it's orange-toned :) Thanks for this. Not sure they'll have this in NZ as we're coming into Spring now. But something I have noticed since I arrived here, is that international companies do not care, so we might get the darker tones after all!

omg all the colours are amazing! i dont know who could pull off that dark purple (apart from like rihanna or something haha) but it looks incredible! i might just have to stick with the nail varnish!
