I got the chance to have a sneak peek at Rita Ora's upcoming collection for Rimmel this week, and it was really rather impressive.
The collection consists of 12 nail polishes and 5 colour rush balms...
The polishes vary from pearly white to an almost-black red. They are the '60 seconds' ones, which I love. They've got a wide, flat brush for easy application and good opacity (some of these are definitely 'one coat wonders', others need two) My picks of the lineup are Do Not Disturb (a vibrant teal), Breakfast in Bed (a frosty mint) and Let's Get Nude (a very flattering, medium-toned nude).
They are adding 5 new shades to the range with Rita's line, and while they are all gorgeous, are all pretty similar. The shocking pink 'Boom Chick A Boom' (centre) is my favourite.
Rita Ora's collection for Rimmel will be available nationwide from 19th March 2014. The nail polishes are priced at £3.69 each and the lip balms £6.99.
Does anything catch your eye?
Ooh exciting. A lot of the colour rush balms all look like too much of a similar colour, it's a shame there's not more variation between them. However, a couple of the nail varnish shades have caught my eye! Added touch on the packaging of them is cute too :) xx

I totally agree. The fact that the lipsticks are all so similar turns me off buying more than one of them. The nail polishes do look fun though. I love how Rimmels products are always so reasonably priced.

The 60 seconds range is my go to nail polish, just the right price for me at the moment! The brighter colours are quite similar to existing colours in the range but I love the more pastel/neutral tones, definitely something I'll try out! I'm not a big lip colour person, don't think I'm brave enough haha!

I am looking forward for the dark red, almost black nail polish as I used to love 60 sec Rimmel called 330 Highlands which is no available for a year now! It was perfect in every way and I really miss it, I had to replace it with brighter 320. It is amazing something similar is comming!

I really like Boom Chick a Boom as well definitely a fleur shade :) I've never got on with the formulation of the polishes and having Rita Ora's face on it won't make me buy one as nice as some of them look hehe x

For some reason, the packaging on the nail polishes remind me of Wet n' Wild. But as for what looks appealing, I'm loving the last 2 super dark polishes in what looks like a dark navy and that blackish red shade. I'm also really diggin' that 2nd swatch of the lip colors--my kind of pink!

I like the variety in the nail polishes from Rita's collection and that the lip balms are vanilla scented, although strangely the colours of that packaging is quite different to the swatches. Your introduction to new products are always the best fleur, have a good day! x
