Rebirth of The Beauty Box

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I'm a little bored of the 'beauty box'. They've been doing the rounds for the past few years, from Glossybox to Birchbox, Feelunique & Carmine, there have been quite a few. Some have lasted, some have fallen by the wayside. I have to say I'm still a big fan of Birchbox, but it's fair to say that the 'craze' does seem to be fading. Enter a breath of beauty-box fresh air...
'My Little Box' is a Parisian concoction. A mixture of beauty, fashion, lifestyle, even stationary. I've gotten the past couple of boxes and have been seriously impressed by them...

The accompanying magazine looks amazing too, although it's in French and my GCSE-level language skills aren't up to scratch when it comes to reading it from cover-to-cover, they have some really fun DIY ideas. It officially launches in the UK this month (in English, horaay!) so if you're bored of the beauty boxes out there at the moment then definitely check this out! My personal favourite things from the past few months include cute holiday-themed stickers, a miniature of my favourite Essie shade 'Cute as a Button', A mini L'Occitane Imortelle face cream and even a cute pineapple print sarong!
It's £14.95 a month including delivery. I think it would make a lovely gift (a subscription especially so!) You can find out more, subscribe, or order an individual box here.

  2. Sounds lovely. I quit my Glossybox subscription in April this year due to rubbish boxes since January. Have been trying to decide if I want to invest in another as a lot can be a bit hit or miss. This looks so good!

  13. I've never tried beauty boxes before, and I don't think I will in the future because I find that a lot of product in it aren't right for my skin or hair type, etc... This one looks really lovely though, and also kind of cute :) I'm not sure if it's available in my country. I really like Essie Cute as a Button! :)

  31. I agree I am also slightly tired of beauty boxes that keep offering perfumes samples and mini body lotions. However, this looks very interesting! I feel as though its a bit more "fresh" and something new and I love the way it is well rounded. I might have to try this!

  43. This box seems refreshing. I agree that the craze seems to be diminishing, but I think that there are companies out there trying to provide a more intriguing product (I've got my eye on trying out the Pop Sugar Must Have box currently). I'm currently receiving Birch Box and this month, I received my first Glossy Box which I am unsure of whether or not I will continue as two of the products within my box had leaked over everything which was a huge disappointment. This box definitely is one I would try out if they were to expand their shipping to the US!

  56. I need to invest in a subscription! Not only do you get a lot with it (for a decent price I think-especially the subscription!) but you can keep them and use them as decor for your room as well maybe! This would be a great present to receive too ;)

  57. These boxes look lovely! I'm getting tired now of traditional boxes, but these look very pretty.

  58. This looks like such a lovely idea and I think it would make a lovely gift. I love subscription boxes because you get to try about lots of different products you wouldn't normally try or perhaps you do not want to invest in as you are not sue if it really works! I think I may have a little look into this.

And it's great that it's now available in the UK since I'm gonna spend next semester over there I won't have to stop my subscription! haha

  65. I have ordered one. it seems that a lot of the foreign boxes like memebox and my little box are a lot better than the homegrown boxes.

I ordered one of these a while ago and hope for delivery of sept box in next week
