I took six empties 'Back to MAC' today and exchanged them for a shiny new lipstick using their recycling scheme.
The shade I chose was Fanfare. It's a natural pink shade. I've never heard anyone talk about it online before but it caught my eye in the lineup as I was looking for a natural, everyday lip shade. I think it's probably the most perfect 'your lips but better' shade I own, I totally love it.
It's a Cremesheen formula too so it's rich, creamy and nicely pigmented. An all round winner in my books!

ReplyDeleteI really like it on you, its quite sophisticated and i think it really suits your skin tone. I'n not quite sure if it would suit me as i'm a bit darker.

I de-potted a lot of my eyeshadows a while back so I got quite a few lipsticks on the recycling scheme. I love it, I wish a lot more companies did it, I feel I get a lot for my money in return. Will have to check this shade out the next time I 'Back 2 MAC' something :)

ReplyDeleteI do not own any MAC to do this with anyway - although I think it's great that they have this recycling option! Especially since makeup is SUCH a huuuuge sector, and so many tonnes of it in unwanted or used up products much get binned every month even!
Eco friendly is good (and probably makes one's self feel better about buying and using lots of MAC...)

I've seen Alli wear that shade, she goes by the username Makeupbyalli on youtube and I bought that lipstick because of her!! It looks so good on her as well! :)

Such a pretty shade! This does look like Creme Cup but darker, so it seems perfect as CC often seems a smidge too light for my skin tone (but I wear it anyway as I'm stubborn and it's beautiful!)
