Nest Moroccan Amber Candle

My lovely friend Tati (otherwise known as GlamLifeGuru on YouTube, if you don’t already watch her fabulous videos, I would recommend that you do!) kindly sent me a wonderful box of housewarming goodies this week. Part of which was this beautiful ‘Moroccan Amber’ candle from Nest.
I’m the first to admit, I’m super fussy when it comes to scented candles. If they don’t kick out the scent sufficiently, they are swiftly banished to the guest bedroom or bathroom and labeled as aesthetic-only, never to be burnt again.

But for this little beauty, that was not the case...

The scent of warm, creamy amber and sweet patchouli radiated from the whole package when I opened it (which has got to be a good sign, right?!) When lit, it didn’t disappoint and filled my office with it’s beautiful fragrance within about 5 minutes of lighting.
I immediately went online to find out more about this brand, which I hadn’t heard of before. The good news is, they have a nice selection of other scents (Hello Fig & Honey, Moss & Mint, Pumkin Chai and Wasabi Pear!) and they do sell them in the UK! You can pick up this scent, along with a selection of others from the brand, from John Lewis. They are £29 each, so quite hefty on the price front, but make beautiful gifts and have an impressive 60 hour burn time. I’m obsessed already.

Have any of you tried any products from Nest? I'd love to hear what you think!

*UPDATE - I believe John Lewis have now stopped stocking NEST (shocker!)

  1. I love candles so much so this sounds great. It's definitely hefty but then I think candles are getting so expensive these days that £29 is almost a mid range mark for a candle that burns for so long. Never heard of Nest before so keen to check them out! x

  11. I love candles so much! I'm very picky with scents too. I love sweet pea candles (the ones from Yankee candle and Woodwick are my favourite).

Moss & Mint sounds amazing. I love mint scents but it's so hard to find good mint candles!

  18. These sound really interesting - I adore scented candles, but the hefty price tag is always off-putting! Will definitely check these out, but I'm not totally convinced by the Wasabi Pear scent and might start off with something a little more standard :-)

  38. OH! I keep the Black Fig & Honey 3 wick candle on my coffee table in the living room, it lets off a soft scent even when not lit, but when lit it fills up my whole living room and kitchen area which is large. I'm obsessed with these, & luckily I got to give it a try by finding one on sale in Marshall's here in the US for only $15! However, I'd definitely purchase at full price after owning one of these magical candles! :)
